Scott Arkell is a Nanaimo-based professional pianist and freelance musician with local, national, and international performance experience. His engagements range from intimate lounges and concert halls to luxury resorts and private events, including a memorable performance of “Happy Birthday” for a princess.
Scott began studying piano at age three with his grandmother, Audrey Thomas, who also taught Diana Krall. He later refined his craft at Vancouver Island University. That early foundation continues to shape his versatile work as a performer and accompanist.
